Iconic Cinema Owner & Antique Dealer: Moussa Barbar!
Moussa Barbar has worked in the Lebanese and international cinema industry since 1976, never as an employee but as an investor and promoter of cinema halls. Although he does not currently own any cinemas in Lebanon, he has a long history of managing and promoting many, including Royal Cinema (Burj Hammoud), Seifan Cinema (1980), Sin El Fil Plaza, Livadit Cinema, and Star Cinema (Ain El Remmaneh). He also distributed films to venues like Florida Cinema, Empire Cinema (Tripoli), and Hamra Cinema (Tyre). Through his advertising company, he specialized in cinema banners and was known for successfully promoting films, including exclusive work for Cinema Amber, Warner, and Arisco Palace Al-Hamra. Over decades, he played a key role in making films successful in Lebanon by guaranteeing and managing cinema halls, but has since stepped away from active involvement.
